We recently caught up with American composer and pianist Jeffrey Jacob after his international sessions in the Czech Republic to learn about his experiences traveling for creative collaborations during the pandemic.
Jacob, who made the trek to Europe to record his Symphony No. 6 and other works with the Moravian Philharmonic, shared an inside look at navigating the current challenges of overseas travel, his sound advice to composers for attending sessions and generating exposure, anecdotes of exploring the Czech Republic, and the inspirations he gained from nature’s transcendent beauty in his latest project.
