Stephen Uhl (Piano) completed his Masters in the Spring of 2015 at Roosevelt University where he studied with Kuang-Hao Huang. Past honors include the Lucille Stansberry-Rosholt Award for Distinction in Collaborative Piano, and appearing in masterclasses with Emanuel Ax, Christopher Taylor, Martin Katz, Craig Terry, and Christopher Harding. Composers with whom Stephen has worked include Stephen Paulus, Daniel Kallman, and Kurt Heinecke. His recordings have often been featured on 98.7 WFMT. Stephen was awarded the Assistantship in Collaborative Piano at Roosevelt while he completed his Masters Degree. An avid scholar of liturgical music, Stephen is the Organist at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Schaumburg, IL. Stephen is currently enrolled in the Artist Diploma Program for Solo Piano at Roosevelt, where he continues his studies with Adam Neiman.
